Top reasons to get married in Ipswich
Ipswich is a wonderful wedding location and offers couples great value-for-money too. Just over an hour from London by train, but a world away in character, Ipswich offers all the amenities of a bustling town with a lively Marina, and is surrounded on all sides by the beautiful Suffolk countryside and the nearby coast.
Suffolk is steeped in history and is famous for its wool towns such as Lavenham, but we also produce lace and weave silk too for wedding gowns. In fact the silk for both HM Queen Elizabeth IIís coronation dress and Princess Dianaís wedding dress was hand-woven in nearby Sudbury.
