The Swan at Lavenham is a dream-come-true wedding venue for your marriage in Lavenham. Here you will find beautiful olde world delights such as oak beams, inglenook fireplaces, a Minstrels’ Gallery and a Medieval courtyard - the ideal background for your wedding photos.

The Swan is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies. Intimate weddings for up to 34 guests can be held in one of the three charming private rooms - The Woolhall, The Suffolk Room or The McCallum Room. These rooms can also be hired out for just the reception. The Head Chef listen to all your ideas and work with you to create your perfect menu, and dedicated and experienced co-ordinators will offer advice regarding the planning of your special day. After the events of your wedding day, you can retire to the luxury bridal suite and guests have the option of staying in one of the 45 magical bedrooms.

You can even hire out The Swan in its entirity from midday on the day of the wedding until 11.00am the following day, so you and your guests have exclusive use of the entire hotel and gardens, a Wedding Breakfast for 80 guests, an Evening Buffet for 80 guests and allocation of all the bedrooms.

The Bildeston Crown is a stunning and original 15th Century coaching inn within reach of Lavenham. You will find a traditional bar and restaurant area on the ground floor of this charming building, ideal for wedding receptions following a ceremony in Lavenham. Upstairs, your guests will delight in the boutique wedding accommodation available, each bedroom being modern and unique. The Bildeston also has a wedding licence for one of the function rooms. Weddings and/or receptions can cater for 120 people.
