Registry Offices in Suffolk

registry office Weddings in Suffolk

Registry Office Weddings have never been more popular, with thousands taking place across Suffolk every year. A Registry Office ceremony provides couples with a good value, religious-free alternative to a traditional church wedding and can range from just ten minutes up to about 20 in length.

The great advantage of getting married in a Registry Office is that you are legally entitled to marry at any registry office in Wales and England, even if you donít live nearby. However you must still give your notice of intention to marry at the registry office(s) where each of you live. Your Wedding Licence is valid for twelve months from the date of issue but many Registry Offices donít take bookings more than three months in advance.

In addition, many registrars are flexible in allowing the couple to personalise their service with individual vows, music, flowers and decorations but make sure you check with them before-hand.
